By accessing or using the Escape platform (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Purpose of the Service

Escape is an activity-based meeting platform. The Service allows users to:

• Create a profile
• Interact with other users
• Propose and join activities
• Exchange messages

Escape is not responsible for the actions or behaviour of users outside the platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Escape, you confirm:

• You are legally able to enter into this agreement
• The information you provide is accurate and truthful

Accounts created with false information may be suspended or deleted.

4. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to:

• Not share your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Use your account for personal use only

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts violating these terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person
• Upload or share illegal, violent, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization

Escape may remove any content that violates these rules.

6. Activities and In-Person Meetings

Users are fully responsible for:

• Their own decisions
• Safety during activities and meetups
• Verifying the identity of other users

Escape cannot guarantee user behaviour and declines any responsibility for issues occurring outside the platform.

7. Content Ownership

You retain the rights to the content you create. However, by posting on Escape, you grant us a non-exclusive worldwide license to display it within the Service. We do not sell your data.

8. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Service (logo, design, code, text, images) are the exclusive property of Escape. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without written consent.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service accessible, but we do not guarantee:

• Absence of errors
• Continuous availability
• Data permanence

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

10. Liability

Escape cannot be held liable for:

• Damages resulting from user interactions
• Direct or indirect losses caused by using or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorized access to your data

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the platform

You may also close your account at any time.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. Changes take effect upon publication. Your continued use of the platform means you accept the updated version.
